New Business:
Updates
SOSP will adopt the “birthday club” idea, with the monies to go into the endowment fund to begin the first of the year. Van suggested to announce in the December Pathways and in the Weekly Update to inform St. Paul’s this will take effect in January.
All involved with the Farmers’ Market on opening day said it went very well. Many thanks to Jeff Page and all the volunteers who made this possible.
No report.
Hal reported that many of the budget reports he requested from the Vestry have not been turned in at this time. He did thank those that did turn theirs in.
Dick announced that the dinner venue for the Anniversary banquet would be Trinity by the Cove. December 4, Dick will present the year of the jubilee to St. Paul’s at all three services. At this time 50th Jubilee t-shirts will be handed out to everyone with the intentions of wearing them to promote our enthusiasm for our jubilee. The Bishop will be coming to St. Paul’s December 11.
Michael Basden will have the retreat for the Vestry at St. Paul’s on January 13 at 6:00 p.m., with dinner, in Trinity Hall and the afternoon of Sunday the 15th in Trinity Hall.
Fr. Bill reported he met with Dave Abernathy and the Columbarium company. They are still working on an area where this project will work out at St. Paul’s.
The Vestry would like to see the space use contracts updated and possibly raise the rent/donation fees for the organizations.
Alan purchased 6 chairs for the Narthex from Habitat for Humanity. 6 for $175 to replace the worn ones.
Fr. Bill reported we are having issues with the sound system, but a fix is made and will work till April when the changes will be made after season.
Note: ECW would like help on how to run the sound system in Trinity Hall.
Note: Opening day of Farmers’ Market in 2017 ask that the Friday Space Use groups either not meet or meet in Serson Hall or the Narthex.
